ALPHARETTA, Ga. -- Chris Doleman, one of the greatest defensive linemen in NFL history, is on pins and needles this weekend.
The former Atlanta Falcon is waiting to find out if he made the 2012 list of inductees into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Doleman, who now runs a charity out of his Alpharetta home, recorded the 4th most quarterback sacks in NFL history, but told 11Alive's Ted Hall that he thinks his lack of Super Bowl participation might hurt his chances. Doleman believes he would already be in the Hall of Fame if he'd just played on a winning Super Bowl team.
The Hall of Fame inductees will be announced Saturday, the day before Super Bowl XLVI.
